Case Study – Convenience Store

OVERVIEW:

After it was discovered that a local convenience store had been exposed to SARS-CoV-2 Coronavirus, a job to disinfect the entire store had been referred to Idaho-based TSN member All-American Cleaning and Restoration with an immediate deadline.

SCOPE OF WORK:

Seeking to reopen the facility as soon as possible, the team was asked to disinfect the entire store using SteraMist disinfection. Areas to be treated included the lobby, shelving, freezers, countertops, windows, restrooms, hallways, offices, and walk-in
coolers.

MEETING THE NEED:

In order to quickly treat the area at risk, two technicians were able to simultaneously use a single SteraMist Environment System in a handheld capacity. This not only allowed the team the ability to fog the areas in question, but provide flexible maneuverability in directly
treating surfaces.

THE RESULT:

After detecting possible exposure, the team was brought on-site almost immediately afterwards. Each area was thoroughly
treated with SteraMist disinfection within two hours. Pleased with the speed and quality of the service, the store extended an
invitation to treat additional facilities.
