TOMI Environmental Solutions, Inc. is looking for a full-time Staff Accountant specialist based out of Frederick, MD office (in-person position). Duties include general accounting such as processing vendor invoices, customer payments, posting period end journal entries and accurate record keeping. The role will support the processing of travel and expense reimbursement using ADP. Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

General Accounting:
• Processing and verifying accounting transactions
• Preparing and posting journal entries
• Maintaining general ledger accounts
• Reconciling bank and general ledger accounts

Financial Reporting:
• Assisting in the preparation of financial statements
• Compiling data for financial reports

Accounts Payable/Receivable:
• Processing vendor invoices and payments
• Handling customer invoices and collections

Data Entry:
• Inputting financial data into accounting software

Analysis:
• Assisting with basic financial analysis

Education and Experience Required:
• High school diploma/GED
• Proven experience as A/P and A/R specialist or similar position
• Work experience in accounting and/or bookkeeping
• Competency with NetSuite or similar accounting software

Skills Required:
•Efficient multitasking and time management skills
•Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
•Strong Excel and Data entry skills
•Excellent ability to organize and coordinate tasks
•Strong customer service skills
