SteraMist® Qualification Packages
Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), and Performance Qualification (PQ)
SteraMist provides comprehensive qualification packages, including Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), and Performance Qualification (PQ) to meet regulatory standards such as GMP, ISO, and GAMP5. These packages serve as methods to demonstrate a high degree of quality assurance, ensuring that the installed or mobile SteraMist system consistently meets quality requirements. These services are available for any purchased SteraMist fogging system, including the Environment System, SteraMist Standalone, NV+, Custom Engineered System (CES), and SteraMist Integrated System.
With these packages, you have the choice of having a SteraMist specialist execute the qualification process, or you can opt for comprehensive qualification documentation that will guide you step-by-step to ensure the system is correctly installed, functioning, and operating under real-world conditions.
SteraMist offers a complete, comprehensive qualification package, the Validation Package, which includes full onsite executions of Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), and Performance Qualification (PQ), IQ/OQ/PQ. The SteraMist specialist will optimize the cycle run under real-world conditions to confirm repeatable sterile cycles using validation methods such as chemical indicators and biological indicators, Geobacillus stearothermophilus with media broth.
Chemical Indicators
Part of any comprehensive quality control program and often used in tandem with biological indicators, chemical indicators validate and verify whether a decontamination service delivered the needed dosage to every treated space. Chemical indicators are treated paper strips used to measure the homogenous distribution of your iHP decontamination service. As the strips are exposed to BIT Solution, the color changes and is measured against a color chart packaged within every waterproof plastic vial.
Biological Indicators
iHP technology efficacy is verified by universally-accepted biological indicators – Tyvek or stainless steel ribbons containing traces of Geobacillus stearothermophilus and Bacillus atrophaeus. These gold-standard microorganisms are among the most resistant to antimicrobial treatments, and SteraMist delivers incredibly fast validation.

For customers purchasing either Custom Engineered Systems (CES) or SteraMist Integrated Systems (SIS), TOMI offers Facility and Site Acceptance Testing to ensure your SteraMist system integrates within your operations and meets the regulatory standards that matter to you, including GMP, ISO, and GAMP5.
