Case Study – Calgary Gun Club

OVERVIEW:

In a proactive effort to keep the patrons of The Shooting Edge healthy and protected in Alberta, Canada, the gun club was approached by one of their members – Sean Carter of Calgary Contents for SteraMist facility disinfection. As a TOMI Service Network member, Calgary Contents is able to utilize ionized Hydrogen Peroxide (iHP) disinfection technology to protect an area from both existing and emerging pathogens, such as the SARS-CoV-2 Coronavirus.

MEETING THE NEED:

With a 7,000 ft2 facility and an inventory of firearms, ammunition, and clothing, The Shooting Edge required quick disinfection with excellent material compatibility to ensure that disinfection was seamless and operations quickly resumed for its members. With the help of the SteraMist Surface Unit, they began to treat the entirety of the retail area.

THE RESULT:

Using only two on-site technicians and a little over one gallon of BIT Solution, the team was successfully able to treat the commercial building in only three hours. Results were successfully validated to ensure that the building was thoroughly disinfected, and members were once again enter the building.
