This study examined the use of SteraMist ionized Hydrogen Peroxide (iHP) technology on Deformed Wing Virus (DWV). The SteraMist application of iHP to DWV-contaminated surfaces has demonstrated a remarkable ability to reduce both the virus's infectivity to honeybee pupae and the incidence of overt DWV infections in those hosts exposed to iHP-treated DWV inoculates.
