A History Of Pandemic Response
TOMI has a long history of fighting pandemics and weaponized attacks with SteraMist ionized Hydrogen Peroxide (iHP) technology. See below to discover the pandemic and weaponized attack history of SteraMist disinfection and decontamination.
ANTHRAX
Originally created by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) to combat the post-9/11 anthrax attacks, SteraMist is the first and only disinfection to use innovative ionized Hydrogen Peroxide (iHP) technology. Disinfection and decontamination that was once used to fight dangerous pathogens were then commercialized and made available publicly.

EBOLA
Selected by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), SteraMist was deployed to fight an outbreak of Ebola in Africa and strengthen local healthcare systems. Seeking to limit the use of chlorine bleach on-site, PPE was treated in less than 8 minutes.

MERS-CoV
After the appearance of MERS-CoV in Zarqa, Jordan, SteraMist was deployed to a Saudi Arabian hospital. After setup, SteraMist successfully disinfected all surfaces within 10 minutes, including walls, handles, rails, and sensitive equipment. CT Scanners used to treat a MERS-positive patient were also successfully treated in Seoul National University Hospital.

CORONAVIRUS SARS-CoV-2
When the most recent global pandemic, COVID-19 (SARS-CoV-2 Coronavirus), emerged, SteraMist fought against the rising numbers of positive cases worldwide. To this day, SteraMist continues to fight by rapidly deploying to government facilities, laboratories, universities, restaurants, and many more.
